Ways that the Left and the Right wrap right back around & re-unite
1.What do you think of when you hear these words:
*Anarchist
*Libertarian

2. Can you identify the source of this quote:
"For all intents and purposes, federal agents had become 'soldiers' (using military training, tactics, techniques, equipment, language, dress, organization and mindset) and they were escalating their behavior."
Is it...
*An indymedia post about riot-cops at a WTO protest?
or..
*A right-wing extremist angry over Waco?

(Answer: Timothy McVeigh)

1. Well, yeah
Once you get over into extreme left or extreme right territory, the two meet on the dark side of the moon. Libertarians are one example, Lyndon Larouche is another. Conspiracy nuts on the far left and far right believe in the very same conspiracy theories. I've also heard of something called "third positionism" which is a mix, I kid you not, of Marxism-Leninism with Nazism.

It's all out there beyond the pale as far as I'm concerned. The mainstream political center is where laws are made, issues are debated, and public policy is set. It's also where most public opinion lies, the extreme right's influence right now notwithstanding.
