Rebuilding on a Conservative Kornerstone
This is a student group on campus. Their creed is taken from Radical Conservative - truly a work of art.

Here's their "test" to determine whether or not you are a conservative. How many logical conflicts can YOU spot?

Pro-Money (Free Enterprise)?
Pro-Individual Rights?
For Limited Government?
For Lesser Taxes?
Pro-Life (pro-rights of the unborn)?
For Equality, not preferential treatment?
For the right to protect yourself (2nd Amendment)?
For personal responsibility?
For freedom of religion?
For a strong national defense (pro-military)?
For the promotion of traditional American Judeo-Christian values?
Pro-American?

If you answered YES to the majority of these questions, then you are a CONSERVATIVE.

1. If you answered yes to all these questions, you're
a hypocrite. How can one be for freedom of religion and promote only Judeo-Christian values? How much you want to bet that these people have NO CLUE what the values of other faiths are?

4. Where does it say these are Judeo-Christian values?
And why can't one allow the freedom of religion and be religious at the same time? Or not religious and do the same? So you claim the Christians and Jews can't accept freedom of religion, can Muslims? Can Hindus?

Freedom of religion for each individual: his/her choice - not imposed from outside. O my goodness, how Christian that sounds!

It also sounds as if you really only believe in freedom of religion for the few the proud the unbelievers. At least, they who agree with you.

Wouldn't For freedom of religion? and For the promotion of traditional American Judeo-Christan values? somewhat, maybe contradict one another? Oh, never mind....

What a lovely website </sarcasm>

on edit, loved this tidbit:

A Radical-Conservative believes that people should learn to speak and read english BEORE moving to the U.S. and use english in public

...yeah, well that would disqualify, say, him.

3. How many of these wonderful pro military folks...
have volunteered to serve in the Army or Marines to help out in Iraq? Don't bother with the Navy, they aren't needed for this one, and the Air Force has plenty of people right now?

Sign Up or Shut Up.
