Just finished the Franken book...

Not bragging actually it's kind of pathetic I really should have been doing other stuff today. It's excellent, if you're feeling in a slump about the world, or ambiguous about the upcoming election or wondering if maybe, just maybe, you're crazy and completely wrong read this book. In all seriousness I laughed (lots of times) I cried (chapter about Wellstone) and now I feel more fired up than ever to get out and do the right thing. I extend my congradulations to Mr. Franken on his recent legal victory and his excellent book. I would also like to thank him for the same book and his never ending commitment to proving Fox News wrong.

Buy this book, borrow it from the library, steal it from a friend or just read it in the store. You need to read it, everyone needs to read it, sorry my copy is already borrowed.

I just ordered Conason's book (used), so this one has to wait until next paycheck. Maybe I'll get lucky and find a used copy of it, too, by then -- but I'm really looking forward to reading it. I loved his book about Rush Limbaugh! :)

Yesterday. It is very good, from front to back.

Of course, the lying liars of the right wing (or as God puts it in the introduction, "The bearers of false witness and the false witness they bear") will smear it as 'distortions'. Which is true, it distorts thier spin back into the truth.
