why Halliburton gets the jobs...'they're the only co in the world
large enuff to do the job; there's no other co in the world that can compete when it comes to extremely large jobs'

1. that's a load of shit
1. it's not the only company in the world "large enough" to do that job.
2. even in a fantasyland where this is true, there's no reason the job (actually multiple "jobs") being done by halliburton could not be done by *more than one company*

3. My guess is that Halliburton, and its subsidiery
Kellogg, Brown, & Root (referred to by Nam vets as "Burn & Loot"), are apparantly the only companies in the world whose sole purpose is war profiteering.

4. 60 Minutes did a spot on that several months ago
interviewing the CEOs of other companies who have been trying to get into the bidding circle but have been forced out for nefarious reasons. The program blew a hole into that old argument of there being only one company, and goodness, wouldn't you know it, coincidentally which happens to be Cheney's~!
