The flaw with the Bush campaign saying, they're against "soft money"
try to distance themselves from the "Swift Boat Veterans" ad, is that Bush campaign ads are just as deceptive.

It isn't a question of "soft money," it's a question of Bush and his cronies being dishonest, whether they're close to him like the people who do the official Bush ads or further away like the "Swift Boat Veterans."

John Kerry official ads and ads by MoveOn are both more honest.

Republican 527s would outraise Democratic 527s until recently.

Instead, Democratic 527s raised more money.

"The Club for Growth" would like to compete with Moveon, but MoveOn is a lot more popular.
