What I have done to enhance what I get out of it: I ignore the posts I find offensive (there are looney tunes in every forum - and sometimes that's me!), and I focus on the many informative and interesting posts there are; I come to DU to get the latest news, the latest debunking information, and a general sense on how we Democrats and Independents are doing and feeling about the election. DU is unique. The Repubs have nothing like it. Enjoy and keep on contributing!
