Why the US will stay in Iraq
Why the US will stay in Iraq

After you read this article you will know why.

The Neo Fascists had no exit strategy because they were not planning on exiting.

Kerry/Edwards don’t have any plans to leave either.

Only the Iraqis have the power to re-claim their own country.

1. Why does NO one listen to me?
I have been saying this for a year. We have to leave Arabia, we are building 14 permanent bases in Iraq and WE ARE NEVER GIVING IRAQ BACK THEIR OIL!!

2. Dems want to avoid the issue.
They want to seem united to beat the Neo Fascists. OK, I do agree that the Neo Fascists must be thrown out of every place possible and the the American people need to wake up to Corporate take over of both parties. This does included Iraq and Afhanistan where the Multi-Corps are reaping billions while the Middle Class taxpayers are footing the bills for these wars of colonialsm that profits US corps and war profiteers in the Govt., as well.

4. The wealthy must be hanged.
Their just to damn greedy. This whole Iraq adventure is about money. The wealthy and the corporations they control own the government and the media.

Progressives need to attack the culture of greed. Also, they should stay away from big money (eg.Soros) so they are not influenced in any way.

7. What in this article makes you say that Kerry will not establish an
exit policy????? Kerry cannot say what it is he will do when he takes office relative to Iraq because he hasn't a clue as to how screwed up things are until he gets in office. Sure, he has an idea like you and I have, but the admin is so secretative who can be sure?

Most vital step that Kerry said he will take is to reestablish international relationships, those that the "weed that would be king" has destroyed.

It is true, we broke it and we must fix it. Where the F to you think Usama Bin Laden came from and why he resents/hates us so and has made us a target for Al Qaeda? It happened because of his resentment that we encouraged, armed, funded and trained the Afghanstan people to fight against the USSR and its efforts to invade them. Raygun and his folks take credit for the end of the cold war, which may be correct to a degree, the USSR collapsed because it went broke and it lost alot of money and troops trying to take over Afghanistan. After the Afghanistan people were successful in defeating USSR and helping to bring about the end of the cold war, Raygun and his admin turned their backs on the people. Though we had funded and armed the Taliban and knew they were evil, we turned away from the people of Afghanistan and allowed the Taliban to take power. We did not offer any financial or physical means to try to help Afghanistan rebuild, we just walked away, and we took credit for the end of the USSR.

That sorta pissed off our 'agent' UBL. He has hated us ever since.

We must try to help Iraq rebuild, we must try to make amends for the destruction we have caused, but we cannot do it alone. We have to reestablish international relationships so that we can get the other nations help in repairing the damage we have caused.

I don't know what Kerry will do or can do. He isn't too sure either, he just knows that he will try to do a better job as a leader than *. I agree with him.

6. Full Sovereignty snuck by...
most Americans because it is complicated. Of course, it is another LIE! This is another reason that it is difficult to explain a whole lot of things that are going on with the Neo Fascists. It takes more than a 30 sec. soundbyte to explain certain topics. The accumulative of perceptions is starting to soak in to more Americans now though because the Neo Fascist stench is wafting over the land.

10. Kerry is smarter I agree.
I do have serious doubts that the usual allies will be lending troops. Even so, it is still Imperialism. By the time Kerry/Edwards settle into office and can effect any changes in policy in Iraq & Afghanistan those two countries may have imploded. He will inherit a huge burden and a mess domestically and foreign. I don't envy to new Admin. a bit.

Sure, I am not an expert in these matters, merely a real interested citizen. I don't have any stunning formulas for solving these massive problems. Hopefully, the new Admin. can do better than the Neo Fascists.

12. Even before the invasion, the intention was clear.
Iraq was to be a laboratory to test neo-liberal theory, and become a model for future neo-colonization.

It was a think-tank war, and it's a think-tank occupation.
