This just in from the "Gee do ya think so?" department.


With the help of the FBI, authorities are pursuing a theory that this week's deadly blast at U.N. headquarters in Baghdad may have been an inside job. Everybody, altogether now, "Gee, do ya think so!

Dang it.

I keep thinking, "Gee, wouldn't it have been sensible to listen to Sen. Byrd and everyone else who was saying that this was a bad idea?"

"Gee, you mean pre-emptive invasion actually doesn't make us safer?"

But more depressing: "Gee, do you think that the voting public will be distracted by something else before November 2004?"
