Republican men are pathetic little pussies.
Tonight, I sat in the cantina and got drunk with a republican, Bu$h loving construction worker from California.

We had a "conversation". Most conversations that people have with me these days inevitably turn political. I can't help it, I've been obsessed with removing Bu$h from office ever since he stole the election in 2000.

So, I asked this guy, what do you think about the war in Iraq?. After we went through the whole Bu$h lied about the weapons of mass destruction thing, and after which he finally admitted that Bu$h “may have been mistaken”, I asked him if he thought the war in Iraq was justifiable, and he said (probably none of these are exact quotes): “Saddam Hussein was an evil man that killed thousands of people, and we had to get rid of him.” So I said, “You know, if I believed that the war in Iraq was justifiable I would be over there fighting myself, because I am not afraid to defend my country if necessary, and, well,.....so, if you believe that the war in Iraq is justifiable, why are you not in the armed forces, so that you could fight in Iraq, and defend our nation if you think it is so important?” He sputtered, blustered and bullshitted, the gist of which was that he was just a working man, and didn’t know that much about politics.

So I got right up in his face, and said to him, “That’s pretty lame, you know? You believe that the war in Iraq is justifiable, yet you don’t know enough about the reasons behind it to really justify it? So, why do you think it is justifiable if you don’t really know what’s going on? So he told me again how Saddam Hussein was a bad man and needed to be gotten rid of.

So I asked him, "Why didn’t you, or why don’t you, sign up for the military and fight in the war, since you think it is so important? Why do you believe it is ok to send others to fight and die for your beliefs and causes? You look like you are in pretty good shape to me. So, what’s the deal, are you afraid?" So he says, “Well, I don’t know that much about politics. I'm just a working man”

I just looked at him, and could not hide the scorn and pity I felt for this poor wimpy guy. Because the truth is, if I thought the war in Iraq was justifiable, little old me would sign up for the armed services tomorrow.

I am not afraid to fight for my country if necessary. It's just that the war in Iraq is...well...totally bogus. But I am just a “weak little female”. These republican men that support George Bu$h’s war really are weenie little chickenshit "pussies". And I mean “pussies” as weak, dependent, scared little kitties.

Because the negative connotation of “pussy’, when referring to being similar to a woman, does not apply. Few women are as cowardly as republican men are.

Most women, IMO, are far more brave, and committed to what they believe in, than republican men are. Republican men, in general, are ignorant, chickenshit little wimps that use every excuse under the sun to avoid serving their country by refusing to fight in a war that they so enthusiastically support.

Anyway, I said a very smirky good night to this pathetic little republican excuse for a man, made my contempt for him as clear as I possibly could.

Republican men that support George Bu$h’s war in Iraq are weak, hypocritical, scared little pathetic excuses for human beings. If they had any “cojones” at all, they would enlist in the armed forces tomorrow and fight for what they profess to believe in.

The truth is, they really do not believe that Bu$h’s war in Iraq is justifiable, and do not want to risk their lives to fight for nothing. Either that, or I am forced to assume that they are simply wimpy little chickens.

Republican men that support Bu$h’s war and who are not in the armed forces thoroughly disgust me. What woman in her right mind would want anything to do with such cowardly, impotent seeming men?

Republican guys......

(Snicker and snarf.)

Sorry, I’m a little drunk, but, I have one thing to say about republican men that support the war in Iraq but refuse to sign up for what they pretend to believe in....

Meow. (Giggle)

1. My cats take personal affront
to being compared to Republican men. To avoid dirty looks from Lily, please compare Republican men to something else, like dog turds, for example.

4. deep down, most would admit
Deep down, most Americans - Republican or not - will admit that it is really a war for oil.

And, "pussy" when referring to a man is not really saying that he is like a woman. I think it's more like saying he is gay, which is far worse in the eyes of most Republicans.

Also, the female private area is soft, while the man's penis - when aroused - is hard. So, the implication can also mean that a man who is a pussy is not hard (i.e., tough), but soft (i.e., weak).

5. Republican "He-men"...
...Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert - avoided the draft, did not serve.
Former House Majority Leader Dick Armey - avoided the draft, did not serve.
House Majority Leader Tom Delay - avoided the draft, did not serve (1). "So many minority youths had volunteered ... that there was literally no room for patriotic folks like himself."
House Majority Whip Roy Blunt - did not serve
Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist - did not serve. (An impressive medical resume, but not such a friend to cats in Boston.)
Majority Whip Mitch McConnell, R-KY - did not serve (1)
Rick Santorum, R-PA, third ranking Republican in the Senate - did not serve. (1)
Former Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott - avoided the draft, did not serve.

Secretary of Defense Don Rumsfeld - served in the U.S. Navy (1954-57) as an aviator and flight instructor. (1) Served as President Reagan's Special Envoy to the Middle East and met with Saddam Hussein twice in 1983 and 1984.
GW Bush - decided that a six-year Nat'l Guard commitment really means four years. Still says that he's "been to war." Huh?
VP Cheney - several deferments (1, 2), the last by marriage (in his own words, "had other priorities than military service") (1)
Att'y Gen. John Ashcroft - did not serve (1, 2); received seven deferment to teach business ed at SW Missouri State

Jeb Bush, Florida Governor - did not serve. (1)

Karl Rove - avoided the draft, did not serve (1), too busy being a Republican.

Former Speaker Newt Gingrich - avoided the draft, did not serve (1, 2)
Former President Ronald Reagan - due to poor eyesight, served in a noncombat role making movies for the Army in southern California during WWII. He later seems to have confused his role as an actor playing a tail gunner with the real thing.
"B-1" Bob Dornan - avoided Korean War combat duty by enrolling in college acting classes (Orange County Weekly article). Enlisted only after the fighting was over in Korea.
Phil Gramm - avoided the draft, did not serve, four (?) student deferments

6. "Are you insulting my Pussy?"

(Sorry, couldn't resist a bit of humor.)

Actually, the kind of man you describe is a "chickenhawk". He's all for the war, but has better things to do.

The guy you talked to might not be a hopeless case. When he wakes up this morning (hangover & all), he might wonder about a few things. He claimed that he was just a working man who didn't know much about politics. Most of the Americans serving in Iraq aren't sophisticated political thinkers--or weren't when they enlisted. They wanted to serve their country & improve their own prospects.

7. Let me relate an experience to you
About a year and half ago I was in a bar in Boston and struck up a conversation with an attractive woman. We really hit it off - she was great to talk to and we both had a great time. We even made a date to go to the Gardner Museum. Well the liquor kept flowing and eventually we got around to politics and it turned out she was a GOPer from Connecticut and a big supporter of then GOP Governor Rowland. I got a little out of control talking about Rowland and the GOP and eventually ended up stomping out of the bar on this woman. Needless to say we never had that date. However to my credit Rowland was removed from office recently (just ahead of an impeachment posse) for corruption. I hope she thought about me during Rowland's fall from grace!!!
