I walked up, voted, and strolled back home. Turnout was so so at my precinct...it's a small precinct. But the Dems were out in full force!!! :hi:

1. What are you voting on today, Mrs. Grumpy?
Is it your House/Senate primary? (Ours isn't until September.)

4. I voted this morning about 11:00. I was #160 on the intake machine.

I was surprised at that big of a turnout. My little town only has about 2000 people. The Dems are all running unopposed (in the primary) and there are about 2/3 of the positions with no Dems running at all. My little corner of Repug/Conservative hell.

6. I think I was #110. The guy in front of me was a Dem and the woman
behind me was as well. It was a great feeling! :hi:

8. Got my I Voted sticker today!
Our 4th District US House candidate was with me. :-) We have too many empty Dem slots up here though. Damn depressing. Working to change that for next time though! :toast: Julie

11. We had one Dem running unapposed as Public Works Commisioner
and the rest fairly evenly divided. Except for the County Prosecuter, which had 5 Dems on the ticket. The current prosecuter is awaiting a trial date for racketeering. :hi:

It was only for Precinct Delegate, but still, it was a kick! I'm on my way out now to work the polls for County Commisioner Dave Coulter. (Oakland County)

Turnout was low, but only one of the Dems and maybe two repubs in my district had opponents. That could be why.

In Greenville.... the most important issues were.. a millage increase for Emergency responders...and a millage increase for 911 service. I voted yes to both... We also chose from three canidates a Democrat to run for the state house.
