It Didn't take Long Did It? Fake Terror EXPOSED. I KEEP TELLING YOU
Edited on Mon Aug-02-04 11:59 PM by TheWatcher
Hope is HERE.

It appears that someone is beginning to tire of this never ending Terrorism Reality Show that has become our Country.

Even though we had to hear about if from Drudge first, it appears as if the Terror Information that Ridge trotted out so proudly on Sunday had a Born On Date that was a bit.....

Outdated.

THREE to FOUR YEARS OUTDATED.

They are scaring everyone to death and making New York City look like it's under Martial Law over Data that is FOUR YEARS OLD.

But guess what.

The NYT is going to run a FRONT PAGE SPLASH with this tomorrow.

FAKE TERROR IS GOING TO BE EXPOSED.

And like all spoiled Milk, those that consumed this latest product from the Bush Administration are once again going to gag and wrench with the realization that ONCE AGAIN, they have been USED as a MEANS TO AND END.

Why?

Because they are DESPERATE.

Because they are going to LOSE.

Because they are DISENTIGRATING, and we are witnessing the beginning of an EPIC FALL.

As I said last night, it is THEY who are on the Defensive.

And it seems that even Drudge is getting a little sick of all the imaginary Wolves the Bush Administration just SWEARS are waiting in the Shadows waiting to eat all of us and our children.

So who blew the whistle? The CIA?

Does it matter?

What matters is one more Card has been removed from the Base that Makes Up The House Of Bush.

And much like The Twin Towers, Our Civil Liberties, Our COnstitution, and our International Standing in the World that they FAILED to Protect and have tried at every turn to DESTROY, it will come tumbling down and crumble right before our eyes.

Just one more example of one simple fact:

HOPE IS HERE.

Let yourself Believe.

remember the Sandy Berger scandal?

well, neither, apparently, do the media

they aren't going to 'remember' this, either, unless the dems get a spine, and make an issue of it

which they won't, cause the pugs+media have already scared the crap out of them, just like they planned, so they'll be afraid of being called unpatrio for daring to speak ill of our little monkey

3. Maybe Howard Dean will stick an "I told you so" firecracker up
the ass of the media and light it tomorrow.

That would be interesting.

22. He should
And the person whose ass he should stick it up is Judy Woodruff.

(Check out atrios.blogspot.com for an expose of how Judy accused Clinton of wagging the dog - when he actually didn't - and then lets Bush off the hook for wagging the dog - when he actually did.)

4. This is way bigger than Sandy Berger.
Edited on Tue Aug-03-04 12:02 AM by NightOwwl
How can they ever raise the possibility of another terror alert without major skepticism? They blew it big time.

Link to Washington Post. Very hard-hitting IMO:

10. that wasn't my point
note that I used other examples; Berger's is just the most recent, and currently most obvious

point is...until the media PURSUES a story like this for more than a few days, makes it RESONATE, it's just more of the same, down the memory hole, crap they've pulled for the last twelve years

I made this exact point on Mike Malloy's show tonight: there's NO leftwing echo chamber to keep stories like this alive

somebody just said Dean should make a huge deal out of this, but I wonder if they'll bother to allow him airtime to speak about it

wish I were less pessimistic

26. I agree there have been many missed opportunities.
There have been so many times I have said to myself...this it it, this is the one that is going to take him down. I have a feeling about this...but then again I had a similar feeling when Condi Rice admitted they had a PDB titled "Bin Laden Determined to Attack in the United States" one freaking month before the attacks.

I hope my optimism is justified this time.

9. Your Cynicism is well warranted, my friend.
But the fact that this is going to be on the Front Page of the New York Times, considering what the Media has been complicit in the past few years, to me is reason to Hope.

They are being called on their Bullshit 24 hours after the fact.

And let's face it, whether the Dem's are growing a Spine or not, more and more PEOPLE are beginning to Grow a spine and find theirs.

People are beginning to tire of this Bullshit, and even the dumbest of the Cattle you can only fool so many times.

I know how you feel, and believe me, I have felt the same way for so much of these past four years.

But I am DONE with fearing these people and their Phantom terror, their Stolen Elections, and their never ending Criminal Orgy.

If we have to do it by Word Of Mouth, we will get the message OUT.

No matter WHAT it takes, we must be vigilant.

No matter how hopeless it looks sometimes, Don't Go Down Without A Fight.

I have acknowledged many times that our Vote may not be the remedy that will solve all of this. It is useless to live in fear of what they might do.

Instead, we should be asking ourselves "What will our response be?"

You know as well as I do they WILL try something, and I think it will be very soon.

But The Curtain Hasn't fallen on us yet.

Stay Vigilant.

12. thanks! I am having trouble feeling that way, after seeing
how the media have EXCORIATED Kerry, Dean, etal, since Friday

and, like I just said, LOTS of front page stories on the Times or Post just DISAPPEAR after a day or two....they just go away, cause NOBODY will keep them going, including the dems

achordates, I mean

23. The Times was probably pretty pissed, not least because...
...their offices are in midtown Manhattan - not so far away from Citigroup's main building.

How would you feel getting up to go to work Monday morning after the mayor's been on live TV all Sunday night warning about "highly specific" threats to blow up buildings next to your job?

And THEN you find out that the intel for the warnings was 3 to 4 years old?

I'd be BULLSHIT.

On Drudge (dirty, low-life scum). I'm suprised he even put this up on his website.

I hope the Americans can see through this administration and all the lies they're telling everyone.

It's about time we ignore the fear and start hoping for a better America.

Here's a link to the story for those who haven't read it:

Do you suppose shrubco just might get burned on this one?

I'm sure they'll try to lie their way out of it, but this is absolute BS!

Mike mentioned 2 papers, but the only one I remembe is the Wash. Post. I'll be listening to c-span first thing tomorrow morning!!!!!

19. And Tom Ridge said, and I quote
"This afternoon, we do have new and unusually specific information about where al Qaida would like to attack."

So I suppose the logic (:eyes:) in that statement is that the info is new since they haven't mentioned it before but not new in that it's 3 to 5 years old. Oh, the tangled webs we weave...

30. Maybe this was the straw that broke the camel's back
where Tom Ridge is concerned and that is why he is resigning. All pugs are not treasonous, you know? This had to be planned, so he's known for a while that this would happen and be attributed to him.

20. I think TheWatcher is right
I think the Republicans often are a lot weaker than they look.

They puff themselves up and bluff all the time - even when they're just full of wind and not holding any cards.

Remember the "Contract with America" that Newt tried to shove down everyone's throat on the basis of a tiny Republican margin in the House - and remember how that whole grand scheme crumbled and disappeared.

Remember Rush Limbaugh

The Republicans are desperate, they're sinking, and they're rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic that their party has become.

Yes, they have lots of power, but it's all "pokazukha" as they used to say in the old Soviet Union, to refer to building facades (with no building behind them) that were put up to impress the boss.

The Republicans are devolving into hot air and dirty tricks. They let us get attacked on American soil, they have presided over the biggest job loss since the Great Depression, they have turned a trillion dollar surplus into several trillion dollars of deficit, they have wrecked the military and made the world stop respecting us, they bankrupted California with Lay's phony energy crisis, they committed treason against the CIA in order to cover up the investigation into Halliburton's trafficking of WMDs in the Middle East, allowed North Korea to proliferate, etc etc.

When asked to come up with a policy for the future, they blurt out non-sequiturs like "abolish the IRS" or "go to Mars" or "prohibit steriods" or "go after sexual slavery in the Sudan" or "get rid of inspections to stop nuclear proliferation" or "ban gay marriage". They're running in cirles and they no longer have a clue.

All in just three short years.

The Republicans are imploding.

"But the characterization of the age of the intelligence yesterday cast a new light on Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge's announcement Sunday that the terrorism threat alert for the financial services sectors in the three cities had been raised."

Seems to me these plans started pre 9/11 but none of the talking heads know when it stopped, or if it stopped.
Believe what you may, but 9/11 planning probably started 4 or 5 years before it happened.(No not LIHOP or MIHOP).
They seem to be very patient......
