What swing states do you know for a fact we are contesting?
Ohio, PA, WV and Michigan because Kerry just made trips there.

What others do know for sure Kerry will battle for? Please give proof.

1. Ohio is King
Proof: No Republican has ever won the WH without winning Ohio. It's close, it has lots of electoral votes.

End of thread.

Let's see...
By contesting do you mean states Kerry is going after that Gore didn't win?

If that's the case, you've got OH, FL, MO (major ones)
then WV, NH...

Some other possibilities are NV, AR, AZ,
and maybe CO, TN, NC...

As for those that Gore won, which are considered battlegrounds you have:

MN, WI, IA (all three are very close), ME, PA and MI (both of the latter are leaning Kerry...last ME poll was kinda close but i think Kerry'll win it), as well as OR, and maybe WA state, though I doubt that state really is in play.
