Is Tucker Carlson giving up on Bush?
For the last few weeks he seems to have quit defending Bush and started admitting that "I have some problems with the administration." Is the idiot coming around? Who will he be voting for?

1. Could be
A while back he said he'd been duped by someone smart into being a neocon and he was going back to being a paleocon. IMHO, he's trying to have it both ways. "I thought I was right then, but I know I'm right now."

3. I wouldn't think that rightists like Carlson very much.
He's too airy--too concerned with certain distinctions, or nuance. He's not very effective at all. Not a right-wing Alan Colmes--not that ineffective--but he's still pretty bad.

4. Must be rough when these Conservative pundits start having 2nd thoughts

"OK, do I keep whoring for the GOP and continue to to make 6 or 7 digit incomes? Or do I have some integrity and intellectual honesty and possibly lose my job in the process." Gee, wonder what they decide on? It rhymes with "Ka-ching".

5. He admitted that Bush's war was brought about under false pretenses..
But I don't expect to see him casting a vote for Kerry.

7. Tucker Carlson has had that bow tie on too tight for too long.
He's half way to a lobotomy. If I were in a position to debate him, I would NEVER STOP bringing up the point that he licked Bush's ass. Tucker Carlson=Bush-asslicker.

8. He's so obsessed with Dem "paranoia" that he still gives a pass
to the PNAC crowd that inspired it! After the Kerry speech Thursday night, Tucker acknowledged that Bushco had led us into war on false pretenses, but couldn't work up ONE IOTA of outrage over that. He was WAY TOO BUSY screaming about Democrats whose outrage is excessive and unfair. As I just said about CNN vs. Fox, conscienceless whores deserve our hatred more than deluded fools. Tucker is bought and paid for, like Judy and Wolf. At least Candy Crowley is a genuine rightwinger like the Fox crowd.

9. The writing is on the wall. Even Bush knows his time is up.
That's why he didn't want the new Intel Czar position to be part of the White House staff. He knows he won't be there next year and he'll want the person to be in another department where Republicans can get to him. Like Louis Freeh & the FBI.
