What do DUers Think About the book "Hoodwinked"
I have been reading to book "Hoodwinked",written by John Prados. At times it seems as if the book gives evidence that the Bush Administration lied to the public. However, at other times it seems as if the book supports the idea that Bush was lied to by the CIA. Mr. Prados included the CIA white paper in the book. He (the author) shows how the white paper distorted the facts, used old facts and old maps, and prohibited discenting opinions. It seems as if the author believes Bush lies to the public, but it just seems that he does not always show that Bush knew he was lying to the people. So what to other at DU who have read the book think. Is it a good resource in proving Bush lied to the public or does it do a better job of showing how the CIA distorted the facts? I have not completed the book yet so there might be more evidence that proves Bush knew he was lying.
