I just found the numbers that will win the election for Kerry
Newsweek poll.

Democratic Party’s nominee now boasts stronger ratings than the president on being:
"personally likeable" (67% Kerry --- 62% Bush)

"someone who cares about someone like you" (57% Kerry --- 44% Bush)

"strong leadership qualities" (31% don’t see these in Kerry whereas 38% don’t see them in Bush).

Now, for some reason, Bush was able to get the votes in 2000 by being "someone folks could have a beer with." He's even losing that battle though. People are beginning to see Kerry as a regular guy who cares about their needs. They LIKE Kerry, and that's what will win the election for him. Personally, I think it's a shame that ideas don't matter to most voters, and all they care about is "who is more likable" but that's the cold hard truth.

2. Women will win the election for Kerry
He may be the guy that men like to have a beer with but Kerry is the one who supports women's lives through action.

During the convention, it was clear that the women in both of the families, are respected, listened to and heard. Every woman who spoke from both families exhibited their own identity. My experience says that you need a strong man who is not threatened by your brains or opinions and John Kerry and John Edwards appear to love it.

Women will vote for Kerry.

3. Who are these 31% who
don't see Kerry's leadership qualities? What the fuck is wrong with people? I am so tired of the anti-intellectualism in this country I could spit.

5. That's not so bothersome.
But what really leaves me open-mouthed with astonishment is that 62% can call Bush personally likable, and 44% say he cares about people like them. What rock are those people living under?
