Conservatives are intolerant of ...

One of my conservative friends is arguing that my intolerance of his intolerance means that I am narrow minded. I have argued that intolerance is worse than intolerance of intolerance (I'd be impressed if you understood all of that).

To prove my point, I've decided to make a list demonstrating the things liberals are intolerant of (essentially just conservatism) and the things conservatives are intolerant of (alternative views, homosexuals, ambiguity, peace, etc.).

I wanted your input as well -- do you have anything else to chalk up under the conservative column?

Liberals are intolerant of any behavior that harms another human being.

Conservatives are intolerant of anyone who tells them they have to behave.

Intolerance of:

Patience (particularly when asked to exercise the same when contemplating pre-emptive war)

Protestors and Law Breakers (unless said protestors and law breakers are doing so to defy a court ruling to remove a sculpture of the Ten Commandments from a courthouse)

Opposing points of view

Anything "Fair and Balanced" which actually is

The working poor

Minorities (and the pursuit of allowing the same access to higher education to level the playing field)

Art and Culture

Big Government (except for Dept of Homeland Security, Military, Patriot Act, et al)

Criticism of any past failed Republican presidents (even Nixon...I mean come on!)

Being asked to maintain accountability

Retaliation for insults

Non-conservative Veterans

etc, etc, etc

Ever. All of their anger, all of their hatred, all of their dissatisfaction, all of their accusations seem to stem from this.
