Anyone else find it strange that we got FEWER articles from Wonkette and Tom Tomorrow while they were at the Convention?

Wasn't the idea for them to tell us what was going on?

www.thismodernworld.com (Bob Harris substituting Tom Tomorrow)

1. I heard a report on NPR
today about bloggers at the convention. I wasn't listening real closely, but apparently since this is the first convention for this, the regular media was all over it. The person they interviewd (I don't remember the name) said that he had done so many interviews that he hadn't been able to spend much time blogging.

2. That is the same observation I had.
They would have done more good staying home.

3. Before they can be effective at an event like this

they have to become more like cyborgs...

That is to say, wearable easy to use net connected 'puters.

And, despite the advances, that just isn't available just yet.
Not to mention that when you are surrounded by people that you
want to concentrate on, it's hard to concentrate on putting
thoughts to screen.

Oh, and the parties...

4. If I were in Boston these week, I'd have better things to do than post.
I don't blame them. They are real people, not fake media puppets.
