Is it going to be possible for the new regime in Iraq to hold on until November elections are past? Because the American "withdrawal" of sorts is all a facade. The politicians in power hope to diminish American casualties until November 3rd, if possible. They want the American people to believe that "something" has changed in Iraq. It hasn't. It is still anarchy and war.
The situation will return to "normal" after the election is over. American soldiers will return to patrolling the more dangerous areas. It is possible that the worst is yet to come in Iraq. The question of the day is, will Iraq be able to sustain until the American political election is over.
