3. I'm GLAD Miller isn't at ours!
The only reason he calls himself a Democrat is that his daddy and granddaddy would roll over in their graves if he became a Republican. I've heard him say that in interviews.

ZELL MILLER IS NOT A DEMOCRAT!

2. That is such a slap in the face to Republicans!
It makes it very clear what she thinks of *.

4. I am sure she was soooooo proud of her son last night!
The republicans probably saw what they would be in for should Nancy speak and decided their fundie base is more important then recognizing a (questionably) popular former republican first lady.

Ed Gillespie, you suck!

7. Wasn't she asked and turned them down?
I thought that's what I read--that Gillespie would do almost anything to have her show. I know she doesn't adore the Bush's but I have a feeling that although she was not exactly mother of the year when brining up Patti and Ron, those mother instincts must be there. Having her son bashed and trashed by the Republicans can't be sitting too well with her.

12. From what I gathered, she would only show up if she could speak about

Stem Cell Research. I would guess after seeing Ron's speech last night, they had to nix that idea. A speech of Ron's calibur would not go over well at the RNC convention. It wouldn't go over well at all. Especially since Falwell will be there giving the invocation. Talk about a floor fight!

9. Michael's being a titty baby saying that Ron's mommy's favorite...
...and that the dems are using his brother. He just sounds like he's whining because he's not getting any attention. God, he's a whiny little thing. If Michael would wake up and get his own life, he'd be much better off.

11. LOL! I heard Reagan with Brokaw last night saying "There are some people
who think the democrats are using me. Well, I am using them to get this important message out!" Now I think that was a little swipe at his "big brother!". He does have a gift for oratory. I don't think Micael could find his ass with both hands. The more he whines, the more republican he sounds!

5. But, beware an August surprise!
They could be working behind the scenes, and then a last minute change of heart will bring her out to NYC to put in an appearance.

8. After what those RW whores have been saying
about her son, I don't blame her for not wanting to be associated with them

10. Some of the freepers are going off on her
Some are not-most are saying, well, she's grieving for her husband and it's a lot to expect her to address the convention. But a few are accusing her of disloyalty to her late husband and the GOP.

I caught a few minutes of Michael Reagan last night on FOX. He basically said that Ron, Jr. can do no wrong in his mother's eyes. I can see why Nancy never warmed to her stepson, yet had a civil relationship with Maureen. Isn't Michael the one who was moaning to the press in the 80s about how Nancy kept him from his father, and how they didn't love him, and all that poor little me crap?
