It seems to me that they cannot advocate pulling US troops and Multi-Corps out of Iraq because that would encourage the insurgents to focus even more on killing US troops. The American view of Iraq is based largely upon US troop deaths. If there were none then there would be very few reports about Iraq on TV &/or Radio Media and it could seem that BushCo has suceeded in their goal of a "Democratic" stable Iraq. Kerry/Edwards cannot, even if they wanted to take a stand to withdraw from Iraq because they would be lambasted with causing more US troop deaths.
This is just a thought that I am considering. Does it make sense?
After it became a Democratic war, inherited from John Foster Dulles, the Democratically inherited war, kept us out of power for most of the rest of the 20th century.
2. They cannot take a stance because they have no idea how
f'up things are and what *&Co. have done over there. (imho) This is the most secretive admin ever and to try to predict what you can do to fix their mess is not very realistic. The only thing they can say for sure is that they can raise taxes on the rich so that the money can be used to fund things that weedboy hasn't funded, including the military.
