Poll question: Iraq is America's...
Quagmire, colony, conquest? Through what bit of world history can we best understand what awaits us in Iraq?

14. agree 100% which is why
I had this bad feeling in the pit of my stomach regarding the invasion.

I felt it was the beginning of the end for our country. It will bankrupt us both morally and economicallly

2. Unwinnable and inescapable.
The guerilla war will go on and on. Sometimes a lot, sometimes a little, but unceasing. BushWarInc can't walk away from it and they can't win it. They can bluster and threaten but they can't expand it to other nations simply because there aren't the troops or the money to do so. If the fraboy warrior manages to win in '04, it will become even more bloody as desperation sets in.

At some point, some politician will offer "Peace with honor" to the American public, and find some way out.

It won't happen soon. This tarbaby is very sticky.

8. You are right
It will be kill a few soldiers. Then our soldiers go out and kick some ass creating new fighters. Then they will kill a couple more soldiers. Wash, rinse, repeat.

4. Staging Ground for Armageddon
Gack ! Bush* seems determined to "Bring it on."

* Clearly rejected by a majority of patriotic and discerning American voters in the 2000 election; appointed to office by the so-called supreme court.

18. Go ask Joe Sixpack
The fightings over, remember what the man on the talking box said? Mission Accomplished!

Of course, Joe Sixpack is either too stupid, or drunk to ask "what mission?"
