Crashing Bush Campaign Events?
Will this get us out of "free speech" zones and into Bush campaign events? It's a sign up to be a "Bush Team" leader -- one of the "benefits" of which is to help out at local campaign events.

3. Bush Team Leaders are fundraisers
This is the fundraising mechanism that exists to skirt contribution limit laws. Idea is sort of the Mary Kay cosmetics pyramid scheme approach to political access. They are also called bundlers.

You would have to raise money be preaching his benefits to others and getting them to contribute lots of dinero to his campaign, all for a chance to yell at him for two seconds, get arrested and detained for eternity, and get edited out of the evening news?

Protesting at his fundraisers will not deter him. He will just go further underground. A man without a mind is not easily swayed.

Spend time raising money for Dean instead.

5. I tried to crash his fundraiser in Century City
I got into the hotel, got down onto the floor where they were letting the people in. But then you had to run a gauntlet of security and show an invitation. Fat Cats only.

As far as Bush, they sneaked him in through a back basement door somewhere.

And the fundraiser itself was deep in the bowels of the hotel.

Good luck! We need more publicity events like Code Pink's slip!
