I got a call from DNC this morning. As soon as he said DNC I said "You

want money, don't you?" He said, "oh please, it is my first call. Don't do this to me." And I said, "no, I DO want to give you money, so don't waste time with your spiel..you can do more calls with the time you would dedicate to convince me."
Apparently, they have a matching program...so my contribution was doubled!
THIS IS THE FIRST CAMPAIGN WHERE I HAVE BEEN DONATING MONEY to several candidates (local, state, presidential). I hope it helps some.

By the way, I went to Richard Morrison's site (Texas, against Delay) and donated a little bit to him. DELAY is the worst thing in congress.

I have been giving to close races across the country, not a big amount, only $25 shots, but it's probably added up to close to $500 this cycle, and that's a lot of money for me. we all need to do our part.

6. DNC called me a couple of weeks ago.

I agreed to a contribution if, and only if, the caller would pass on this message to the powers-that-be at the DNC: Excommunicate Zig-Zag Zell Miller from the Democratic Party. Would you believe that the DNC caller had no clue who Zell Miller is? She did when I finished my spiel! She agreed to pass my message on to higher authorities.
