Ignore the silly push-poll in the Tribune...Ditka's "magic" long since has worn off in Chicago...he can't even keep a restaurant open.

As a political analyist put it last night, even Ernie Banks, Mr. Cub, couldn't get elected Alderman in Chicago because he had the <R> after his name. Expect the same for "Da Coach".

Chicago is a major union town...and it's gonna show up big in November like we haven't seen in a long time. Also add to that the large black vote that Obama will get and the GOOP could run Jesus Christ and he'd lose.

This is a non-story here, but one the national media wants to play with.

As Sun-Times sportswriter Jay Mariotti has already called him..."Limp Ditka".
