Fox OPPOSES Black Box Voting!!!

Just saw a CNN story about Black Box NIELSEN ratings, and how Nielsen is going to abandon their paper diary in Nielsen households.

There's a lot of hue and cry from minority groups who are arguing (rightly) that if they aren't counted, then they don't count. In fact, the file footage of the protest I saw featured good ol' rev. Al Sharpton with the marchers.

What is so ironic to me, is that Fox is ALSO vigorously protesting the possible use of this new system by Nielsen. Seems they're afraid their ratings will suffer if it's electronic counting without a paper diary!

Who wants to sound the latest RW hypocrisy alert? Apparently, it's perfectly okay to disenfranchise people from VOTING in an election, but God forbid anybody's electronic-teat-watching habits not be accurately portrayed. Boo-friggin'-hoo!

Fox is not in favor of the voting machines, they're not opposed to a paper trail, and they have done pieces featuring voting machine activists.

7. Come on guys, this isnt a valid critique

If Fox News has been advocating against paper trails in voting, and i dont know because I dont watch it, it is not hypocrisy for them to oppose a Neilsen procedure change. It is merely a coincidence that it is electronic replacing paper. The Paper procedure is not a record of the electronic numbers. These are two totally different issues with coincidental relations.

THere are plenty of good reasons to critisize fox news.

8. Maybe you've seen different stuff on Fox than I have...

(after all I watch it SOOOO much :eyes: ) because I've only seen various "commentators" railing against the old paper ballots and FOR BBV.

Just my limited experience with Fox, but still..
