Anyone see conection w/ Blackouts and AZ gas crunch?
Strange timing between the two.
For those that havn't heard, Phoenix, Arizona is having a major gasoline shortage. Half of all gas stations were out of gas as of yesterday.

1. Probably
It happened in Ontario too. The outage caused oil refineries and deliveries to shut down, leaving a lot of filling stations stranded without gas.

4. And Bush comes out TODAY with his ANWR drilling
He's not going to back down on drilling in the ANWR. Suspicious? I'd say so. There's a couple of news articles in LBN about the pipeline and the ANWR statement. I'm really not a conspiracy type, but there isn't any way possible that so much could go so wrong in just 2 years.

5. Why is this price gouging permitted?
The state should freeze prices until the emergency is over, and if need be, seize control of gas stations. This is not a time for capitalistic bullshit!! Ergg! It reminds me of those pencil neck shop owners who made the NYC firefighters pay $120 for water on 9/11/

6. Got that right...
thinga here are so crazy...I am looking at running out soon...so I'm going to have to wait in line for some...
I have about a 1/4 tank at the moment...and I know that won't last very long...I tried going into a Circle K just to buy cigs and a police officer said I can't go into the store unless I was buying gas...if I wanted to wait in line then that's the only way I was going to get into the store...

Believe me it's crazy here...
