Rasmussen has Kerry-Edwards with 49%-45% lead over Bush-Cheney

Today, for the first time since John Kerry secured the Democratic Nomination, has either candidate polled more than 48%.

Rasmussen is a rolling three day average, updated daily, and shows a net increase of 5 points for Kerry since Edwards was added to the ticket.

In addition, Kerry leads Bush by 247-203 in the electoral college battle, which doesn't yet reflect the Edwards' bounce.
