1. They were...they had Tim Russert doing some analysis
VERY INTERESTINGLY, the question was posed, "If the president dies, which person would you rather have assume the presidency?"

Edwards 45%
Cheney 38%

But the real kicker, according to Russert, is that the independents went for Edwards. "This ought to really worry the President's campaign."

4. Seen any Bush/Cheney 04 signs or stickers?
Neither have I. I have a sneaking suspicion Dick may have another "cardiac event" that forces him off the ticket in favor of somebody who doesn't look like Mr. Potter in "It's a Wonderful Life."

Just a hunch.

7. In MD have seen a few Kerry stickers here and there and a couple
Bush/C..., and saw a great bumper sticker that said something like - No flag is large enough to cover the shame of killing innocent people! The best one I've seen so far.

6. Actually probably not news at all....
The liberal media IMHO is trying to force attention on the VP spot to highlight the weakness of Cheney on the ticket. Thus, alerting dim-son that Cheney needs to develop a "heart condition" to sadly cause his withdrawal in favor of a right-wing shining star.

In other words pull a Rudy. Find an excuse to pull once it's apparent that the race is lost.
