I wonder if Shrubby will pardon him on his way out as one last effort to bring "honor and dignity back to the WH" *sarcasm off*

3. The GOPers are REALLY grasping now!
Of course the case will never come to trial before November! And if it does Kenny will get off easy!

Someone this high profile, and this connected would not be indicted unless they were 99.99999999999999999999999999999% sure of conviction.

14. Good Question
Don't know. But, the prosecutors would have to be dumber than asparagus to indict him unless they had the irrefutable goods.

He will take someone down with him, but i doubt there weren't sufficient buffers between him and any office holders. It might look fishy, but probably not illegal, anyway. Just guessing at that.

8. Score one for the Good Guys. Though I wonder...
would the Busheviks allow Kenny Boy tog o to trial without Fixing It first?

Just who is the Judge that will sit on the case? Bet you a lot of money it's a Federalist and Bushevik Loyalist.

9. My prediction:
Bush loses, pardons Lay before leaving office, everybody who whined about Mark Rich keeps their mouth shut.

10. What if Lay is convicted after Bush leaves office?
Will Bush attempt a "preemptive pardon"?
