Public hearings of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the
United States

The Commission periodically holds public hearings to offer a public
dialogue about the Commission's goals and priorities. The
Commission also seeks to learn about work already completed and
the state of current knowledge, in order to identify the most
important issues and questions requiring further investigation.

The Commission held its third public hearing on "Terrorism, Al Qaeda,
and the Muslim World" on July 9, 2003 in Washington, DC. Archived
video and transcripts will be posted once they become available.

The Commission's second public hearing was held on May 22 - 23,
2003 in Washington, DC. Archived video and transcripts are available
online.

the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House in New York City. The
hearing was open to the public and the media. Archived video and
