Dan Quayle: Too dumb to be devious? Says Hillary is Repugs worst nightmare
Edited on Tue Jul-06-04 08:56 PM by JanMichael
On Larry King a few minutes ago. May be true but to say it the way he did must have freaked out his handlers. He actually said "They're relieved that they didn't pick Senator Hilary Clinton".

Also knocked Edwards being a trial attorney...Isn't (Wasn't) his WIFE a trial lawyer? Ted Olsen and Skipper Libby come to mind as Repuke trial lawyers.

Anyway my heart skipped a beat as I realized that he was just one missed heartbeat away from the Presidency during the Cold War...Damn...

EDIT: OK, I'm the Moran...TOO not to.

1. Hillary is a powerful force
that they fear. Not because she will ever be president, but because of how loud her voice is in America. She is extremely popular and any issue she speaks on gains national attention. She galvanizes our base, and she may one day be our Senate Leader. She is also an exellent fund raiser.

5. Damn right -- President Hillary Rodham Clinton
I can just taste it. She will run and she will win. After 200+ years of male rule, most notorously by a stupid one in the Oval Office, Hillary would be an improvement....

6. I would like to see her as Senate Leader.
A good Senate Leader can be more powerful than the President I think.

10. Yeah, but he came off as positively brilliant compared to Junior
Hell, at least the guy can speak English. I saw the interview, and he comes across better than he used to.

Remember: Marilyn (his wife) is no dummy, and she always pointed out how much dumber Bush was.

Oh, I remember those days. Pass me a potatoe, and don't go light on the republican vegetable either.

11. Hillary was once a Republican and even a Goldwater Republican.
But, I don't think anyone should lump her in with the empire hungry Republicans, who are now in charge. Even she spoke of the VRWC who were trying to bring Bill Clinton down. The problem I, and many long time Democrats have with our party these days, is that it does resemble the Republican Party of Eisenhower more these days than not. I for one am a leftie liberal and I don't like it.
