So this is how they're going to attack Edwards.

He's stupid, inexperience, and girly. It's what they're already saying. You could tell that the GOP has already phones up the talk radio hosts and supplied them with these talking points.

3. Edwards Is A Good, Experienced Trial Attorney
Don't think he'll let much pass from either the Rethuglicans or the "liberal" media.

4. Refutation
Stupidity: No, Edwards can speak in complete sentences, use correct grammar, and make sense. Not like somebody else....

Inexperience: Well, I do believe he can find France on a map.

Girly: He's a family man with kids. Has taken on big corporations to help the little guy. Not exactly sure what they're insinuating here, but I think these two points refute it.

5. If that's the best they can do, we don't have a lot to worry about....
The first and third points are a matter of opinion. As for the second, he's
more experienced than Dan Quayle was, and we know Quayle was stupid!

7. Ed on Hardball
tried out the "trial lawyer" schtick. I think he believes it will help in Pennsylvania.

8. Yeah.
The only thing I can think of that could be effective against them is that they're both lawyers.

9. Pennsylvania seems to be a focus
for the Bush Campaign and they recently had some minor medical revolt (I could be mistaken) over malpractice insurance.

11. When the far right resorts to the kind of dialog and name calling
like we've seen today alone, they are showing obvious signs of insecurity over their presidential ticket and their standing with the voters and the issues.

May the meltdown begin!

12. Rush and a caller talked about
how Edwards is the cause of rising health care costs. You know because he had the gall to sue some people. They forgot to mention that he worked on the paitents bill of rights act with McCain..

13. Is that the best they've got?
If so, I say bring it on. What we have is a likeable, charismatic, eloquent, and intelligent running mate from Bush Country, and that scares the hell out of the Rethugs. Imagine the VP Debates, when people start to compare Edwards to Cheney. Who do you think they'll pick, A likeable and intelligent Southerner who speaks for the middle class or a brooding, angry old fart who speaks only for the far right and his corporate buddies?

As that dumbass Ed Gillespie says, we have a clear choice.
