Bill Simon attacks Arnold
This is hilarious, watching the news now. Simon is running a radio ad calling Arnie a liberal who wants to triple property taxes.

Davis didn't have to do a thing.

1. Someone help me with this one...
I think this recall is total SHIT. Davis was elected (unlike some people we can mention) and deserves to serve his term.

However, is Arnold all that bad? I've heard some of his views, and they piss his rethug backers off greatly. He's got Warren Buffet and Rob Lowe on his side. Is he all that bad? The recall is bad, but is Arnold?

2. Arnold is bad enough
He's a Republican. That's all that matters.

Remember, Pete Wilson, the governor before Davis, the bastard who did all of this to Califonia, is Arnie's campaign manager.

4. Arnie
never went to college.

went AWOL from his military service to attend a bodybuilding competition.

has never run anything, never even produced a movie or had his own production company or directed a film, never had to manage anyone or anything.

has a business manager who actually makes all his business deals.

So like that old commercial -- "where's the beef?"

Jesusfreakingchrist, my 7 year old is about as qualified as Arnie to be governor.

9. Rob Lowe is VERY CONSERVATIVE; it shouldn't surprise you
I don't know why he's some kind of a qualifying factor; he's quite to the right.

Where does this impression of show biz people automatically being lefties come from? Yes, there's a sizeable percentage, but the industry is huge, and a lot of it is straight business and total selfishness. Lots of people in it couldn't care less about politics, either.

5. That's so appropriate since Simon botched it last time
just proves that the election made sense the first time we had it.

I'm not a big Gray Davis fan by any stretch, I think he's damn lucky Riordan wasn't the repub nominee. I think that's the only reason he won.

And now the repubs have started this whole freak show which is just gonna blow up in their face.

HA! I say HA!!

8. We won't have to destroy him
Rush Limbaugh, Bill Simon and Tom McClintock will do it all for us. Any remaining vitriol will go towards Gray Davis, while Cruz Bustamante stands above the fray.
