On a Minnesota Public Radio interview yesterday, he was responding to a caller's question about bipartisanship. He said, in reference to his years as St. Paul Mayor, "I was a Democrat... I was a Repubilican working with a Democratic legislature." He clearly did not mean to admit to his prior life as a Democrat!
Another question was about Ann Coulter's book "Treason", which the caller said was second on the best seller list (after Harry Potter - I have no idea what list she was referring to), to which Coleman replied, "They're both fiction!". He then admitted he hadn't read it, but claimed Coulter represents the "fringe".
The rest of his responses were predictably smarmy and evasive. He repeated the lie about Saddam Hussein "kicking out" the inspectors, and after a caller set him straight (the U.N. ordered the inspectors out) he repeated it again.
