HAS THE SUPREME COURT LOST ALL CREDIBILITY?
Is the court now just a pawn of the Right Wing?

I think Scalia is a sleezeball. Could he he be a mob boss on the side? And Clarence Thomas is just plain repulsive.

6. I do
Scalia is the poster boy for conflict of interest. Not only has he accepted favors from Cheney while Cheney's case was pending, his son was arguing for Bush during the 2000 election fiasco and ruling that tossed the election to Bush.

Thomas's wife was vetting cabinet candidates for Bush during the 2000 election fiasco.

Both these guys should have recused themselves. They didn't, and that leaves them vulnerable to impeachment and removal

Rehnquist lied during his confirmation hearings. That's ancinent history, and provides less grounds for impeachment at this late date.

Getting rid of the two dirtiest members of the USSC would be a start toward restoring it to the nonpartisan body it was always meant to be.

11. Yes. We don't even have a "Supreme Court" in my view, anymore
Edited on Mon Jun-28-04 11:24 AM by tom_paine
We have a Judicial Arm of the Coup, like in Syria, Iran, or any other of the Third World Nations who's group we now belong to.

We sure don't belong to the Free World anymore.
