Should Hannity be fined by the FCC?

Howard Stern and many others have been fined for supposed indecency. Was it decent for Sean Hannity to play the audio of the Nick Berg beheading?

Do the Freepers actually think Janet Jackson breast showing for 1/10 of a second is more damaging to a young mind than hearing the blood curdling screams of a human being having his head sawed off?

7. I don't think we should be fining people for speaking out.

Regardless of political affiliation, I just can't go there. Stern is nasty, and I think sometimes degrading. But sometimes he's funny. The point is, I don't get to judge him legally. I can just change the channel.

More people should change the channel instead of fussing and whining about their issue of the day. I agree that the amount of money that goes into right wing talk radio creates serious problems for the opposing point of view, which tends to represent those with less monied interests. That's also why I don't think you can kill lobbying. There are issue groups that do good works for those unable to fend for themselves.

Education is the key, and we really stink at it. We need to pay teachers a fortune, make schools incredibly expensive, and the taxpayers should have to pay for all that. However, the goal would be to recruit the very best to teach, if only for a while. Education is the most important issue facing us today, and history and civics are part of the process.

Somebody tell me how to make this work and I'll work for it. I promise.
