you should have convinced 2,000,000 other Californians that this was
a scam...

still, Davis buckled under the pressure and signed the damn contracts
and didn't really explain what was really happening.

In addition, while the privatization of the energy sources happened
on Pete Wilson's watch, Davis had ample warning (San Diego 2 years
before the state wide crisis) and could have led the charge to
re-regulate before it got out of hand. He didn't.

But, yeah, I want him back too. Did my part.

As another poster mentioned San Diego went through this crap 2 years before the state did and we were assured time and again that problems had been resolved.
