100 men for Hamilton - 20 men for Reagan

Ron Chernow has a new bk. out about Alexander Hamilton.

right before Hamilton's duel he was broke so after his death 100 men put in money and paid his debts and set his wife and family right. and this was kept a secret until the 1930's

I recently learned that 20 men put their money together and bought Reagan a house. but the house number was 666. naught to worry, the P.O. changed it to 668 for him.

(saw the Hamilton stuff on c-span, Wash. Jour. this a.m.)
