Anybody But Bush!
Edited on Tue Jun-15-04 07:38 PM by wyldwolf
What used to be a rallying cry during the primaries among less rabid candidate supporters has now been hijacked to denigrate John Kerry.

"People aren't voting for Kerry, they're voting against Bush!"

Really?

History lesson:

People didn't vote for Gore, they voted against Bush!
People didn't vote for Clinton, they voted against Bush!
People didn't vote for Dukakis, they voted against Bush!
People didn't vote for Mondale, they voted against Reagan!
People didn't vote for Carter, they voted against Reagan!
People didn't vote for Carter, they voted against Ford...

on and on...

If it's true now, it was true then.

Damn! We've NEVER had a candidate worth voting for!

4. those voting for repubs are voting for hate, bigotry, and meaness
so they have something to vote for.....

those who vote democratic are voting for humanity in ourselves and in others....

It is not about the person....they just become objectified by the policies their party choses.... repubs chose to kill people randomly and for no reasons and sometimes they try to justify it...but they have no compassion for anyone...What ever repubs say they are, they are the opposite. They say they are pro life, but the kill and believe in the death penalty and they are PROUD of it too. So they lie a lot. They say they are for veterans and cut their benefits. They say they want to help the old people, and cut medicaid. ITs a pattern....

So we vote for a party that is willing to be open to humanity.

So when I vote, I am voting for a group that there is a better chance that they will try to do what is good for the whole of humanity and not kill off every non-Christian on the planet.
