Black fighter jets are going over the city of Chicago right now

My Dad was in the Airforce and he is out on our Balcony right now and he said that they look like Fighter Jets to him but they look like they are black.

In his days they weren't black.

You can hear them going over our building.

Why are they going over the city of Chicago.

Do we have an Air Show in town right now?

The power is on. They are practicing for the Air and Water Show, it will be this way all weekend.

They are scarring the hell out of me.

But we have loud noises from the planes going over and it's scarring the hell out of me.

It is so loud and I have lived downtown for a while now and I haven't heard of seen anything like this.

9. I work downtown and see this every year.

One year we were having a meeting up on the 39th floor in a room where one wall was entirely glass and overlooking Grant Park. The guy hosting the meeting made the mistake of sitting at the end of the table with his back to the outside. Every couple minutes minutes someone would pipe up, "sorry, I missed that. What did you say?".

He finally gave up realizing he would never get our attention with jet fighters playing chicken with the building.

It happened either in the 80's or 90's.
