Why we MUST see ALL of the toture pictures and videos

It's simple. It goes back to what was done to the German civilians after the end of World War II. Read up on the history of the towns that were close to the death camps. In order to get their ration tickets, the townspeople were forced to file through the camps and look upon the horrible crimes committed in their names so that nobody could deny it.

I am not trying to equate what happened at Abu Ghraib with what happened in Auschwitz, but it is undeniable that Abu Ghraib is certainly a step in the direction of Auschwitz.

The American civilian public must be FORCED to look upon the horors committed in OUR names. Especially the horros of the baby rapes!

Would that America could promote the kind of introspection done in Germany. Germany and South Africa are the only countries on this earth who have made serious, concerted efforts to take "personal responsibility" for their histories.

Today I am SO SAD, Walt. :cry: I read posts from folks who somehow still want to believe the RAPE of Iraq was somehow "justified," or who are OUTRAGED about them having lower prices at the pump, meanwhile demanding "respect" for heartless, racist predators who have presided over SUCH INCREDIBLE DESTRUCTION. I no longer know what to make of it all...
