Tony Blair takes an electoral beating

Not all of the votes have been counted, but we have on our hands a very clear indication that Blair has become an electoral liability:

And, unlike Spain, there are no terrorists to pin the blame on.

There have already been whispers about a leadership challenge (short version; only the Labour party can help us get rid of Blair). This can only serve to swell the ranks of rebels, so we've decided to help matters along a bit:

My hope is that a groundswell that rids us of Blair will encourage Americans to take similar action within their own democratic/legal framework. Before November. If you're up for it, of course.

Some thought that he might not survive past August 2004.

I hope they're correct.

Blair and Bush both deserve to be thrown out of office for invading a country, Iraq, that was not a threat to us, and killing tens of thousands of innocent people, which includes more than 825 US soldiers and more that 100 UK soldiers.

I hope they both burn in Hell.
