many obese or overweight people are poor and have to eat foods they can afford such as macaroni and cheese and other items which are starchy or high in fat. I doubt that many of these people are Reagan's natural constituency.

Right now I'm watching a shot at the entrance to the National Cathedral. In the pciture is at least 100 people...I've only seen two black people...and one was in a uniform (not sure if military or a limo driver).

I spoke with a black friend yesterday and said there's a lot of grumbling going on this week among his friends...Raygun meant crack, homeless and economic slavery...they're not happy with all this adulation. Good thing, we need something to get these folks involved in running this current regime out in November.

Bad education about nutrition
Genetic pre-dispostion (some people more efficient at fat storage)*
Too poor to buy the right food


*which was a good thing during the food gathering period of history
