62. That's the Tower Theater
The Tower Theater is Sacramento's "Art House" theater on Broadway and Land Park. It's right across the street from the Tower Records downtown. It's about a 40 minute drive for me, but I am so there when it opens.

68. yeah, but there are plenty of "alternative" type theaters in Atlanta
silver Screen, LaFont Tara, The Screening Room. All of these are known to show controversial films. Hell, the Plaza on Ponce! Is it still open? I used to live across the street from it. they show everything - usually the more controversial the better!

The only states not showing it are:

North Dakota
South Dakota
Utah
Georgia
Mississippi
Alabama

Does anyone have connections to a theater in Birmingham or Huntsville? Surely there would be a good turnout in these two Alabama cities. Also, I can't imagine why an Atlanta theater doesn't have it yet.

Would it make a difference, or is this completely set already? That's it? That's all there is? 6 theaters in Florida? SIX??? Who's in charge here? How were these decisions made? What the hell???

Florida has no showings in Miami? None in Tallahassee? None in the entire Tampa Bay area? No listing for Daytona or Daytona Beach? Jacksonville Beach, but Not Jacksonville? None in the Sarasota area, Gainesville, the Keys, Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, etc.?

Are you sure this is a complete list?

This is NOT, repeat NOT a complete listing.

I searched Google for 'Farenheit911 theaters June 25' and one of the outlets it will be playing is the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
http://michtheater.org/schedule_descriptions.php

Check the tix list for Michigan, and this theater is not listed there.

IF this one is not listed, there must be more.

they only listed one theatre in NYC, and I am pretty sure it will be shown widely in this city. There is $$ to be made off this and if the Weinsteins have anything to say about it, the movie will show at every theatre in town.

Bowling for Columbine was such an experience in the theater -- I'll never forget the moment when he reveals that LOCKHEED MARTIN is running the welfare reform program in Michigan, and the totally packed theater audience all gasped in unison.

It was powerful. And it will be nothing compared to this one.

60. Stars Praise 'Fahrenheit 9/11'
Stars Praise 'Fahrenheit 9/11'

Hollywood turned out in force to support Michael Moore at a special screening of his controversial new documentary Fahrenheit 9/11 on Tuesday. Actors Martin Sheen, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen DeGeneres, David Duchovny, Sharon Stone, Meg Ryan, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Jodie Foster, Drew Barrymore, Chris Rock, Jack Black, Matthew Perry, Diane Lane, Marisa Tomei and Viggo Mortensen all attended the showing at the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences Theater in Los Angeles.

Moore's film criticizes American president George W Bush's behavior following the September 11th terror attacks in Washington D.C. and New York and exposes links between Bush's family and Al-qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden's relatives. At the screening of the Palme D'Or winning movie, Barrymore enthused, "I never come to premieres, but I'm so here on this one. I'm looking forward to this more than anything in the world."

After a seeing a clip from the film featuring Britney Spears pledging her trust for Dubya, Titanic heart-throb DiCaprio burst into laughter. Eyes Wide Shut star Leelee Sobieski admits she cried during the documentary and said it "should be required for everyone in America to see as part of their education in high schools".

71. Just remember, we wouldn't be where we were if there had not been a
9-11. There is a direct and precise link between 9-11 and torture-abuse-torment-inhumanity of children and their parents in Iraqi prisons and a lot of missing limbs and functions and absent fathers and mothers, mothers and fathers and wives and husbands.

This administration took a gun and pointed it at Afghnistan, then moved to the left and shot Iraq. On purpose. On plan.
