LOL!! CNN finds a way to insert Reagan into every story.

My favorite: their second Ray Charles story focused on--you guessed it--Ray playing at Reagan's innaugural. Yes folks, I'll always remember where I was when irony died--sitting in my livingroom watching Paula Zahn. Oh, the humanity.

Seems to me I remember they would only pay him, like $15,000, instead of his usual $45,000 or so, so he didn't bring his whole orchestra, then claimed he couldn't do AtB as a result. At the time it seemed like a mighty swipe against the powers that be.
