a question someone asked me today that got me thinking . . .
the question was: "What falls exactly between 3/11 and 9/11?" . . . the answer, obviously, is 6/11 . . . but I couldn't figure out the significance until he reminded me that the attacks in Spain took place on 3/11 . . .

6/11 is this Friday . . . the whole US government will be tied up in DC for the Reagan hagiographics, and the leaders of the rest of the "free world" will be hanging out in Georgia for the G8 stuff . . .

kinda makes you wonder . . .

2. There's a submarine base near there
Cheney likes subs. He rode one to Gitmo once. And didn't they practice hauling politicos once near Hawaii?

What better way to 'get away from it all' than on a nuclear sub?

Nah, nothing's gonna happen on 6/11.... is it?

4. Federal Govt is on "Liberal leave" Thurs, Closed Fri.
The traffic and chaos is like a snow day. Non-essential govt employees in Washington are on "Liberal Leave" Thursday. That means they didn't have to get a vacation day pre-approved for Thursday.

Friday, the govt is closed as it is a day of national mourning. Only essential employees have to work that day.
