Smirk doll made in China
http://www.berkshireeagle.com/Stories/0,1413,101%7E7514%7E1567340,00.html

-snip-

The foot-tall figurine of Bush in full naval aviator's regalia joins the "Elite Force" series of action figures, including a New York City policeman, Navy SEAL commandos and World War II aviators, manufactured by Blue Box Toys, a Hong Kong-based company with factories in southern China.

-snip-

According to its Web site, Blue Box Toys was founded in 1952 with the "drinks and wets" doll as its first product. The company, which has a New York City sales office, operates four manufacturing plants in southern China employing 7,000 workers.

-snip-

According to the Washington Post, Blue Box Toys did not request permission from the White House for use of Bush's likeness. The White House had no comment.

Blue Box recommends that only those 14 and older use the Bush doll, which it says is an "adult collectible item" and emphatically not a toy. The doll may, in fact -- as yesterday's article in the Washington Post pointed out -- pose a choking hazard for the president's Democratic opponents.

2. drinks and wets
The "drinks and wets" bush barbie would have been a better choice. The funniest thing about all this is that Bush-Ken doesn't even have the sense to be embarrassed by it.

6. I like this quote:
"Blue Box Toys did not request permission from the White House for use of Bush's likeness."

Maybe they didn't have to request permission to use his likeness because they were solicited by the White House to produce the doll? Hmmm.

I'm speechless. :wow:
Notice the left hand? How apt.
Dogs can't do that with their paws.
It explains a lot. :eyes:
Maybe it does cause feeble-mindedness?
