Does this seem fishy to you (revisited)
Yesterday I posted about a suspicious encounter I had with a supposed volunteer for the DNC.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=1741799

Some posters asked if I had to address that this "volunteer" gave me and I thought I'd thrown it away only to later realized that I'd actually balled it up and stuck it in my pocket. This is the information that I was given:

Attn: Carlton Fugnan (at least that's what the last name looks like)
Democratic National Committee
1211 Chestnut Street Suite 608
Philadelphia PA 19107

1. Suggestions
I would urge you to contact your State Attorney General's office. They usually have a fraud investigative unit. You may also want to alert the local Democratic party and let them investigate it as well.

2. Googling that address gives this:
Community Legal Services, Inc.
Kinship Care (provides services for grandparents who are raising their grandchildren Grand Central Kinship Care (1211 Chestnut Street, Suite 608) Philadelphia PA 19107.

4. I did a reverse address search for 1211 Chestnut and didn't get the DNC
I got 36 results, none of them a DNC office. Couldn't isolate by suite number.

7. I'll be interested to see...
...if that guy is out there today as well. He planted himself in front of 30th Street Station which is very high traffic because it is where people catch Amtrak and the Philadelphia Regional Rail Line. I'll be on the lookout.

8. Take a picture of him!
Even if you have to buy a disposable camera, you could go get it developed and ask the people at that address if they know the guy. I would think if he was faking it, that maybe he gave that address as fake after just giving up on trying to get money, but they might know him (like if he works across the hall or something).

This is exciting!

12. I will.

Actually, now that I think about it, it was really ballsy for him to pick the location that he did. With security and police presence in the area he's either very bold or very stupid.

5. You should let the DNC know.
Serious. Go to your local people too in case your email gets lost amongst the ton they probably get.

6. Didn't Alex Hidel work from that address?
...he was distributing leaflets for "Fair Play for Cuba" back in '62

9. Go for it, skypilot!
You are on to something here.

Send it to the DNC. Send it to the local cops. Send it to the Bunko Squad and the Better Business Bureau (if such a thing still exists in Imperial Ameika -- cleaning up corruption is against the National Ethic of Imperial Amerika).

Go for it!

11. Fingnam? Fingnan?
Fugman? Everything is fairly legible except for the last name. I'm thinking that this guy actually did work for some political organization at some point and got canned. In addition to the petition forms I noticed that he had voter registration forms on his clipboard. Or maybe he's just working the props.
