Granted, this link is to a site that has some rather - ahem - questionable content, but I was just looking around on it out of sheer boredom and insomnia and I came across this picture of * apparently flipping someone off. Is this a real picture, and if so when did this happen? Anyone know?

1. Hard to tell.

As we often see here on DU, there are many computer users who are highly skilled Photoshoppers, and it's not like this would take a lot of effort. It's just a matter of either adding a raised finger or taking away a raised finger.

Seems to me that a photo like this would have gotten far more publicity. One can never be sure, though, with the fawning media we seem to have in this country.

2. looks fake

look at the color/shading of the top of the middle finger as opposed to the bottom. it looks like he had a closed fist and was maybe gesturing with his thumb, and someone just added the finger in.
