On a side note, I think Nancy will be vocally critical,
if Bush tries to use Reagan's death to prop himself up. It's no secret there's no love lost between her and the Bush's and Patty Davis has also had some critical articles re: his policies....I see a backlash from the Reagan family if the Rove machine uses this too callously.

not sure about the dim son.
The political impact will be minimal in the end I believe, although since AWOL boy idolizes him so much it is an opportunity for him to personally rally his pathetic self to some cause.
fond of her, but she IS a tough cookie-don't underestimate her. She won't stand for Dubya grandstanding on this one, especially when she just came out in favor of stem cell research.
10. That is....if she's allowed to be critical.....
....she's no spring chicken either...and ya never know she could...in her grief and bereavement suddenly develop some sudden severe health problems as well....I'll keep my :tinfoilhat: handy...just in case! :evilfrown:
13. In addition - I think there are many centrists
who fell for the reagan allure - and still respect him... but who do NOT support bushco. Those folks, too, will be very turned off by moves to try to exploit the outpouring for Reagan by the bush-the-younter team. Then for fun - just the natural comparison - between Reagan (the mythic as will be portrayed on tv) and the current president just might have a negative mental comparison for those undecided voters.
